What do we do?
Playhood is a revolutionary new play 'hood', offering the first role-play venue where children can immerse themselves in imaginative play. Parents and caregivers can join in too! Playhood features a café, event spaces, and indoor play sessions, welcoming up to 400 visitors a day.
What will you do?
As the Weekend Manager at Playhood, you will be the driving force behind the venue's weekend operations. You will work closely with our team to ensure smooth and efficient operations, providing a fun, safe, and memorable experience for all our visitors. Your responsibilities will include:
- Team Management: Lead, train, and support your team, ensuring a positive work environment and high levels of motivation. Schedule shifts and organize team-building activities.
- Guest Experience: Ensure a seamless guest journey from arrival to departure, handling inquiries, resolving any issues, and maintaining a high standard of guest satisfaction.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee the daily operations on the floor, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and that Playhood stays safe, clean, and inspiring for both children and adults.
- Activity Coordination: Plan and supervise activities for everyone, ensuring they have a fantastic time, while keeping everything organized and on track.
- Safety & Maintenance: Ensure the safety of all guests and staff by overseeing safety protocols and maintaining the venue's facilities.
- Administration: Handle operational tasks like monitoring stock levels, managing schedules, and reporting on performance to the Operations Manager.
